Phyllis Minnie Ralph (nee Newell)

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Phyllis on March 14, 2026. Born on January 11, 1929, in Toronto to Ivy (nee Cann) and William Newell.
Beloved Sister to the late Audrey Day (late Johnny), Evelyn Longworth (Robert), Elaine Wenn (Graham).
Loved and cherished by her late husband Edmund Ralph with whom they created countless memories throughout their 68 years of marriage. Phyllis is survived by her loving children David Ralph (Kim), Corinne Grant (David) and Warren Ralph (Rita) who will forever carry her strength, love and guidance in their hearts.
Proud Grandmother to Jennifer (Stuart), Jeffrey (Claire), Amanda (Handelle), Douglas, Michael, Derek (Angela) and Craig (Kristi), and adoring Great-Gramma to Laila, Karyan, Carter, Hunter, River, Sayler, and Blake who brought immense joy and light into her life.
Phyllis also cherished her many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Phyllis worked as a bookkeeper at Branksome Hall School in Toronto for over 20 years. In addition to her work, Phyllis raised her 3 children and volunteered a lot of her time at her local Churches in Ottawa and Don Mills. Residing most of the time in Don Mills, where she was an active member at the Church of the Ascension.
Her greatest joy in her life was spending time with her family and friends. Phyllis enjoyed reading, knitting, playing bridge and traveling to all corners of the world with her husband Ed. Including trips to UK, China, Africa, Alaska, Russia, Israel, New Zealand, and Australia.
The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to everyone at DH Rapelje Lodge Welland, V!VA Mississauga Retirement Community and CarePartners Mississauga for their outstanding care and support.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, Ontario. Visitation: 10:00am, Service: 11:00am
