Peter died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday December 14, 2025 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Georgea Wolfe (46 years) and adored father of their daughter Samantha Rose Zelda Matti. Dear brother to Doris Galler and uncle to Hannah Galler. Dear brother-in-law to Alison Wolfe (Kevin Belbin) and uncle to their son Evan Belbin. Dear brother-in-law to Judy Wolfe (Randall Friedman) and uncle to their children Sam and Sharlotte Friedman.

Deeply missed and we will love you forever.

The funeral visitation and service for Peter Wilfried Matti will be held on Saturday December 20, 2025, in the Sheppard Hall at the York Funeral Centre.
Visitation with the family will be between 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Service will be held at 2:30 p.m.
Interment will be at 3:15 p.m. at York Cemetery, Section 30, which is in the part of the cemetery to the west of Senlac Road.
