With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Barrett, who left this world on September 18 2025 at the age of 57. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, known for his humour, his big heart and the way he could make the simple moments feel special.

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Paul touched the lives of many with his gentle soul. He had a passion for photography, movies and TV, music, fishing and golf. As a dad, he had a way of making his children laugh and feel supported; and those little things are what his children will carry with them forever.

Paul is survived by his wife Lorraine, his children Megan (Yan) and Dalton and his brothers Colin (Patricia) and Patrick, who will forever cherish the memories, laughter, and love shared. Though Paul is no longer with us, his impact lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A small intimate viewing will be held for family members with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Paul’s memory to Canadian Mental Health Association, in hope of helping others find the support they need.
