<div itemprop="description">After a long and courageous battle with cancer, my life partner, Patsy, your daughter, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 10th, 2012 at Kensington Hospice in her 45th year. She is survived by her partner of 20 years, Dianne Byrne, father Aldo, mother Louise, sister Chantel, brothers Mike and Serge, extended family and countless, wonderful friends. Special thanks to all the health care professionals and volunteers at Toronto Western, Princess Margaret and Kensington Hospice for their care and compassion. Patsy, your passing leaves a profound emptiness and you will be greatly missed by all. Friends may call at the Visitation Centre in MOUNT PLEASANT CEMETERY, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, (east gate entrance, north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-485-5572) on Sunday January 15th from 11:30 a.m. until a Celebration of Patsy's life begins at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patsy's memory may be made to Kensington Hospice (www.kensingtonhealth.org).</div>
