<div itemprop="description">Macaluso, Patricia (nee O&rsquo;Hare) <br />Served W.A.A. F 1942 - 46 and a war bride, left her home and family (her parents the late Patrick and Ann O&rsquo;Hare, her sister Bride and brothers Frank and Jim) in Coatbridge, Scotland to come to Canada in 1946 to marry her loving and beloved Canadian Soldier Jim Macaluso. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 90 at Guildwood Extendicare in Scarborough. Patricia was a loving mother to Theresa &ldquo;Terry&rdquo; Ann (Louie Nuspl) and the late James Bradley Macaluso. Proud Granny of Heather (Sean Griffin) and Veronica (Dan Spencer). Cherished great Granny of Aidan, Dysan, Autumn and Rose who brought her much joy in her later years. Patricia will be remembered for her laughing blue eyes, sunny smile and her ability to make friends wherever she went. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to Cedarbrook Lodge and Guildwood Extendicare for their warm care and kindness. Family and friends may call on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 6 pm to 8 pm and Saturday, October 19 from 12 pm until 2 pm at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE, 1057 Brock Rd, Pickering, 905-686-5589. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 2 pm with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer&rsquo;s Society.
