It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Philippacopoulos, who departed this life peacefully on August 16, 2025 at the age of 88. Peter was born on July 1, 1937 in Athens, Greece to Dimitri and Panagoula Philippacopoulos.

Peter was husband to Rita, his wife of 64 years, and loving father to Youla (Lefteri), Nick (Fay) and Cindy (Alex) and proud grandfather to Eleftheria (George), Christian (Erica) and James. He worked in the restaurant industry as a bartender, server and owner.

Relatives and friends alike remember with fondness how Peter had made their transition to their new adopted country less daunting by always lending a helping hand, especially with finding employment, arranging doctor appointments and accompanying them whenever he could.

Peter's quick wit, kindness, generosity and unwavering love for his family and friends will never be forgotten, and he will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Peter is survived by his wife, his children (their spouses), and his grandchildren (their spouses).
