It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Panayiotis Diakoloukas, who left us too early at the age of 47. Panayiotis was born in Mimico, Ontario, and would later spend most of his life in Brampton and Burlington, where he was known for his bright spirit, humour, and generous heart.
Panayiotis was the beloved son of Stamatis and Wanda Diakoloukas, and a cherished brother to George, Pantelis, and Kostas. His family and friends will forever remember his warm smile, his quick wit, and the way he could bring laughter into any room. He had a remarkable gift for lifting others up, often through his jokes, his stories, and his unmistakable presence.
A true outdoorsman at heart, Panayiotis found comfort and connection in nature. He cherished time spent in the wilderness, appreciating the quiet, the landscape, and the traditions of the outdoors. He was also an avid collector, with a deep appreciation for antiques and unique items that spoke to history, craftsmanship, and character. His collections reflected his curiosity, his eye for detail, and his love of discovering something special.
Panayiotis leaves behind a lifetime of memories filled with laughter, love, and the many moments he shared with those fortunate enough to know him. His absence will be deeply felt, but his spirit—kind, playful, and unmistakably unique—will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
May his memory be eternal.
