Beadon, Pamela Daphne
On June 6th, 2014 at the age of 88, Pam passed away from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. Pre-deceased by her two brothers Perry and Patrick, Auntie Pam is survived by her nephews Richard (Mary) and Perry (Karen) and their families.
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia of British parents, Pam went to England to enlist in the RAF in WWII and served in England and Singapore. She returned to Canada after the war, working for many years at Towers Perrin in Toronto. She was a long time member of Summit Golf Club, a dedicated translator of brail books for the CNIB, and an avid walker. We will miss Pam’s feisty spirit and independent nature.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday June 19th, 2014 at 2pm at the Mount Pleasant Visitation Centre (375 Mount Pleasant Rd, east gate entrance (416) 485 5572)
Donations to CNIB or Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
