Pak Hong Mak was a devoted father, grandfather, husband, and friend who cared deeply for his family and always put them first. Born and raised in China, he carried with him the values of hard work, resilience, humility, and dedication throughout his life. On April 12th, 1989; he immigrated to Canada to reunite with and be close to his family. Surrounded by the love and support of his children, he spent his later years watching his family continue to grow across generations.

On May 7th, he passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren.
He is lovingly remembered by his children:
Andy Mak (64), Fanny Mak (61), Miranda Yuen (61), and was predeceased by his youngest child, Christine Mak, in 2018.

He was a proud grandfather to his six grandchildren:
Brian Ha (34), Vanessa Ha (32), Angelina Yuen (31), Aaron Mak (29), Annkie Mak (28), and Allison Yuen (27).

He was also predeceased by his beloved wife in 2022, whom he deeply loved and missed very much every day.

He will be remembered for his quiet presence, resilience, and the family bonds he cherished deeply throughout his life. Through times of hardship and change, family always remained at the center of his life, and the care and devotion shown to him by his loved ones meant deeply to him in his later years.

As a father, he was dependable, caring, and quietly supportive. He taught his children the importance of perseverance, respect, and kindness through both his words and actions. His love was often shown in the little thing; making sure everyone was cared for, staying connected with family, and always being there when needed.

Despite the hardships he experienced throughout life, his love for his family never wavered. He found great joy in watching his grandchildren grow and took immense pride in the family he helped build.

Though he may no longer be with us physically, his memory, values, and legacy will continue to live on through the generations of family who loved him dearly.
