Orville Ellis
October 8, 1947 - August 26, 2013
Ellis, Orville
With great sadness, we announce the loss of Orville Ellis on Monday, August 26, 2013 at the Trillium Health Centre, following a brief and courageous struggle with pancreatic cancer. Orville was the beloved husband of Kathleen Moleski and the loving father of Jeffrey and Kate Ellis. He also leaves behind his sisters, Christine Thomson and Barbara Mumford.
Orville had a passion for sports, particularly baseball, and instilled his love of sports in Kate and Jeffrey through his gentle encouragement of their participation and through his coaching of their various teams. Orville was also known for his faithful and life long support of the Cleveland Indians Baseball team; even though a coveted world series win continued to elude the team, he was unwavering in his support and never once strayed to another team.
Orville also touched many hearts with his enduring values, quiet strength, kindness and integrity. He was always quick to offer his help when needed and was always loyal to his friends and family. Orville will always be remembered for his strengths of kindness and integrity and his undying love of the Cleveland Indians. Please join us in celebrating Orville's life.
