It is with heavy hearts that the family of Olga Matijevic announces her passing. Olga was the heart of her family—her love, wisdom, and quiet strength influenced the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed by her son Sasa, daughter-in-law Mira, and grandson Ivan, along with his family.
Whether it was her warm smile, her stories from the old country, songs and music, or the way she made everyone feel at home with a cup of coffee and a gentle word, Olga’s presence was a gift. In the hearts of those who loved her, she will always remain, treasured forever in memory.

Draga familijo i prijatelji, nasa draga Olga je preminula 28. augusta 2025. Rano izgibivsi svoga supruga, Olga je posla za Kanadu da se pridruzi sinu i njegovoj porodici. U zajednici sa prijateljima, Zoricom i Draganom, provela je predivne dane cuvajuci svoga unuka Ivana. Stekla je mnoge prijatelje u Kanadi, Toronto je dobro upoznala, ali joj je u srcu uvek bio Beograd. Svake godine je odlazila i bivala sa svojom mnogobrojnom familijom, uz pesmu, veselje, i za punim stolom. Volela je da putuje, obisla je mnoge zemlje Evrope, i mnoga mesta u Kanadi. Volela je da ugosti, puno srce i siroke ruke su svakoga docekale na vratima. Svom pra-unuku Luki je volela da skine carapu. Imala je tri sestre i tri brata, njih sedam velincastvenih.
Ozalosceni, njen sin Sasa sa suprugom Mirjanom, unuk Ivan sa suprugom Hazel, i sira porodica.
