Nada Stojcevski
January 20, 1943 - June 12, 2015
STOJCEVSKI (nee Struminikovski)- On the afternoon of June 12, 2015 our mother Nada passed away. She was surrounded by her loving family at the Scarborough General Hospital, Palliative Care Unit. Our mother was strong willed and a fighter, this was present throughout her struggle with cancer these past 2 years. Nada leaves behind her husband Branko, son Louis (Valentina) and daughter Mary (Anthony), her grandchildren, Brandon, Jessica, Jennifer and Ashley, Shantel, Stevie and Alysha, great-grandchildren, Alfonso, Elrey, Jayden, Neveah and Mya. Nada’s greatest joys in life were her children, great and grand. Nada was a pillar of the church community at St. Clements Orthodox Cathedral, serving as President of the Executive Ladies Auxiliary for 2 terms, member of the church choir, and volunteering for an endless amount of hours. Nada was born in Dolno Dupeni, Prespa, Macedonia on the waters of Lake Prespa. She traveled by plane to Canada, with her mother & brother to be reunited with her father, arriving in Toronto in March of 1959. Soon after she met and later married her loving husband of 55 years Branko. Our Mother will be remembered for having the voice that sang, first to lead the oro and for her moral quality of being so honest. And finally, as her son Louis would say, “Who's the champ Mom? You’re the Champ. ” She will remain in our hearts forever.
To honour Nada’s request, a private service will be held at Pine Hills.
