Muxian “Mary” Deng passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on June 7, 2025 at the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, surrounded by her family.

Mary was born in Guangzhou, China on September 15, 1934. She moved to Canada in 1988 after her retirement. Mary was a great cook and enjoyed playing mahjong with her friends. She loved social events and eating at restaurants with her loved ones.

She is predeceased by her husband, Yun Xian Zeng. Cherished mother of Amanda Min Lu (Hugo Yu-Pang Lu). Beloved grandmother of Cecilia Lu (Jay Chen) and Marcellina Lu (Rainer Rainer) and great-grandmother of Madeleine Chen and Micah Chen. She will be greatly missed by all of her relatives and friends. We take comfort in knowing that she is now resting eternally with the Lord.
