With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Yiu Lok Leung 梁堯樂, 66, of Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, on June 27, 2026.

Larry was born and raised in Hong Kong. After graduating from public elementary school, Larry attended a technical institute in Hong Kong where he excelled in applied sciences and engineering.

In 1980 he visited his grandmother and sisters in Toronto and Vancouver, and fell in love with Canada. He immigrated to Canada in 1981, where he attended Seneca College in Toronto. While working towards his diploma in Electronics, Larry worked as a busboy at the Royal York Hotel.

Larry was a lifelong learner, curious, hardworking, and determined. In his professional life, he was highly-valued for his depth of knowledge and skillfulness in electronics.

To his family and friends, Larry was known for his love of cooking, good food, camping, and traveling. He was an avid photographer, fisherman, and tea enthusiast.

Most of all he was a loving, proud, and devoted husband and father. Larry is survived by his wife Suzanne 繆詠茵 and his two children Matthew 梁長彥 and Michelle, whom he lived his life for.

He will also be missed by his two elder sisters Yiu Sung Dong and Alice Lau, as well as his extended family.

Larry touched the lives of everyone who had the honour of knowing him. His selflessness, warmth, and generous spirit will be remembered forever. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that lives on in all of us.

A private service will be held in memory of Larry. The family requests no flowers be sent.
