Our dear brother in Christ, Soei Hian Paul Lim was called home to be with the Lord on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025. By the merciful grace of God, Paul was able to be surrounded by his immediate family (his wife & children) as he entered the Kingdom of God.

Paul was a devoted husband to his wife of 48 years, Swee Keng, as well as a loving father to his three children, Edwin, Grace (Kyle), and Esther (Brendan). He also had a close relationship with his siblings, nephews and nieces who live around the world in Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, and the USA.

Paul was also most proud of becoming a grandfather to his grandchildren - Joshua, Lea, Brynn, Kaia and Rowan, and loved them dearly.

Born on February 2, 1947 in Jakarta, Indonesia, he moved to Singapore with his parents and siblings, before finally moving and settling in Canada with his wife and children. Paul was also a faithful follower of Jesus Christ - he was strongly committed to his Christian faith, and regularly went to church, prayed, and read the bible.

Paul also shared a great love for photography, food and technology, and loved documenting his adventures through life by taking lots of photos, experiencing many different foods and cuisines, and playing with the latest electronic gadgets out there.

Finally, Paul loved connecting with people. He enjoyed telling them stories, and sharing them with the many people he met in life. He lived a full life, marked by his deep love and dedication to his family, and will be dearly missed.
