Following a brave and lengthy battle with lung cancer, Heng Min Li (Kevin) left his beloved world at 5:45 am on December 30th, 2025 at the age of 59 years. The family of Heng Min Li is saddened to announce his passing.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years, Wen Hong He; children: Henry and Anthea; father: Yuan Ren Li, sisters: Heng Yun and Heng Mei; as well as numerous relatives and friends. He will also be dearly missed by his soccer club, iKick. He was predeceased by his mother, Zu Jun Lu.

Kevin was a responsible, diligent, and humorous person who lived a life of integrity. He was a loving and patient father and husband, dedicating his life to design and construction project management and contributing to numerous high-quality buildings and projects that benefited society and his community. He was always known for his sense of responsibility to his family and kindness to others, continuing to do so through physical ailments and pain.

Kevin loved music, playing the guitar, composing songs, and delighting others with light-hearted piano tunes. Kevin enjoyed playing soccer, camping, skiing, visiting museums, and engaging in conversations with people. He treated his children as friends and cherished the time spent with them, relaxing and sharing thoughts freely. From Jinan, Shandong China, to Toronto, Ontario Canada, Kevin has lived a colourful and celebrated life. Kevin was known by everyone as a wonderful writer and artist, and his life was certainly a beautiful tale; although his story has come to an end.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at North York General and Sunny Brook Health Sciences hospitals for their dedicated and compassionate care.
