MONA MARY GREEN (nee Thornhill)
Peacefully passed away on Thursday October 16, 2014 at Wesburn Manor at the age of 84.
Survived by her husband Art (separated); sons Charlie (Judy), William (Teri), Ross (Palma) and Norm (Caroline); grandchildren Stacey (Jim), Jason (Cara), Jennifer (Fiona), Steven and Pauline; great-grandchildren Clara and Mackenzie. Mona was born and raised in Newfoundland where some of her family still live. She worked in nursing when she was younger and moved to Toronto where she continued nursing and then started her family. Mona was known for good conversation and her ability to make everyone in the room laugh. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Wesburn Manor for their dedicated care. A memorial visitation will be held at Meadowvale Visitation Centre at 7732 Mavis Road in Brampton on Thursday October 23, 2014 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
