Molly Sumintra Ramsahai, 89, passed away peacefully at Scarborough Health Hospital on Saturday, June 13, 2026, with three of her six children at her side.

Born in Trinidad to Ramlogan and Parbati Gangoo, Molly built a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to her family and her God. She later made her home in Canada, where she continued to nurture her strong family bonds and community connections.

She leaves behind her six beloved children: Judy, Ron, Sue, Josie, Sherry, and Deann. She was a proud and loving grandmother to six grandchildren: Rhonda, Rivera, Tenisha, Katie, Tyisha, and Tyrese. She will also be deeply missed by her daughter-in law Rita, her sons-in-law, Malcolm, Ed, Hayden & Derek and grand son-in-law Dillon along with many extended family members and friends.

Molly was a devout Christian and compassionate woman whose faith guided her throughout her life. She was known for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting presence she gave so generously to those around her.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her resilience, and the deep care she showed to everyone she met. Her legacy lives on in the lives of her children and grandchildren, who carry forward her values of love, unity, and faith.

Molly will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who truly knew and loved her.
