Miyo was born in Vancouver, interned with her parents and siblings in Lemon Creek, then settled in West Rouge where she raised her family. Most recently she resided at the Momiji Residence alongside her sister and friends. Many thanks to Miyo’s caregivers Marita, Lisa, and Ellen, and to the staff at Momiji. We would also like to express our gratitude to the caring nurses, doctors and staff at Centenary Hospital.

Moto was the personification of what an elegant, polite and gentle Japanese elderly woman should be. I see the caring of her by her devoted children.
