Michele Bea Mahmood was born on Nov. 23, 1968 in Bellingham, WA to Eugene and Frances Miller. She entered into heaven April 12, 2012 and survived by her loving family (Husband of 20 years: Imran; Sons: Manzoor, Zeki, and Zeb, of Ontario, Canada; Parents: Eugene and Frances Miller; Brother Paul Miller; Sisters: Dawn (Toby) Reed and Rose (Mike) Tafoya of Colorado; Grandmother: Bertha Hudson of Boise, Idaho and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Michele was predeceased by her infant son Zeeshan.
Michele moved to Grand Junction, Colorado at the age of 18 months and lived there until she graduated from Central High School in 1987. She then moved to Evanston, Wyoming where she began her career in Hospitality and Hotel Management. Michele met her husband Imran in Boise Idaho. She embraced Imran’s culture and became an integral part of his family. She loved and highly respected her Mother-in-law, Gulshan and her Brothers-in-law Amer and Irfan, and their families.
Michele enjoyed family, friends and the outdoors. She also loved telling stories about her boys. After Manzoor was born, she dedicated her life to enrich that of Manzoor’s, by doing a million little things which allowed Manzoor to be a productive and healthy child with Downs. She sacrificed her career for her children and was a proud mother and wife.
Michele has touched so many lives. She earned the respect of her colleagues. Her beautiful and contagious smile, her big heart, and her bear hugs made it so easy for everyone to fall in love with her.
Michele had a special place in her heart for her friends; especially those who were right beside her in her journey to fight cancer and supporting causes to find a cure for it.
She will be deeply missed and will always be loved by all, especially her boys: Zeb, Zeki, Manzoor, and Imran.
Rest In Peace, Michele. You are in a better place and you will always be in our hearts and minds.
