With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Shirley Micallef who left us on June 1st at the age of 89.

Shirley passed away peacefully, holding the hand of her beloved husband Paul. Together they shared a beautiful marriage of 62 years, a true sign of unconditional love.

Shirley was a fiercely loving and devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She poured her heart into her family, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter and endless support. Her witty humour, kindness and unwavering love will forever remain the foundation of our lives.

She is survived by her devoted husband, her children, her grandchildren and a lifetime of cherished memories.

She will always be in our hearts.

Family and friends are invited to the Pine Hills Funeral Centre for a visitation on Wednesday June 10th, 2026 from 1 - 2 p.m. with a funeral service to follow. Burial will take place in Pine Hills Cemetery following the service. Guests are welcome to stay and join the family for refreshments following the burial.
