With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Melissa Mi-Wah Ma, a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and caring sister, who left us on September 19th, 2025 at the age of 73.

Melissa’s life was filled with love and strength. She was the heart of her family—always giving, always present, always guiding with a gentle hand. As a wife, she shared a deep and enduring marriage with Simon, husband of 45 years. As a mother, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her only child, Andy, filling his life with unconditional love and guidance. As a grandmother, her joy knew no bounds; she found endless happiness in the giggles, smiles, and milestones of her beloved twin grandchildren, Adelaide and Elliott, who brought light and laughter into her life.

Those who knew Melissa will remember her not only for her unwavering love of family, but also for her thoughtfulness, consideration, kind spirit and warm smile. She had a knack for planning gatherings and a way of making everyone feel welcome and cherished, leaving behind countless memories that will be held close by all who were blessed to know her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Simon, her devoted son, Andy, and his wife, Elena; and her cherished grandchildren, Adelaide and Elliott, who will carry her love forward in their hearts. She now reunites with the members of the Ma family who predeceased her, embraced again in peace.
