<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Megan Schmitt on September 13, 2014. She left us too soon at the age of 16. She was surrounded by those who loved her. Megan will be missed dearly by her family Ann Marie Corker, Gabby and Thierry Schmitt; her grandparents Don and Ann Corker; her aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as Jean, Sadora, and Catherine. We will carry her heart in our hearts. Special thanks to the ICU team at Sick Kids, Dr. Jeremy Friedman, Dr. Robertus Bandsma, Dr. Leona Fishman, and Brenda Reid. Friends may call the YORK VISITATION CENTRE, 160 Beecroft Rd., North York (north of Sheppard, west of Yonge St., 416-221-3404) on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 6-9 p.m, and Friday, September 19, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment to follow at York Cemetery. <br /></div>
