In memory of

Meagan "Meg" Scott

August 10, 1984 - October 6, 2022

Dear friends and family of Meg:

It is with unimaginable sadness that I tell you that our Meg chose to leave us on the night of October 6, 2022.

Meagan (Meg) Katharine Scott, beloved daughter, will be forever loved by her Mom, Carol; her ever best friend Jonathan, her extended family in Southwestern Ontario and California, and all of her cherished clients who became good friends, all of her fun-loving circle of old and new friends and Trixie her beloved rescue Mutt will sadly miss her Mom who cooked fabulous meals for her baby girl.

Meg will be remembered for her radiant smile, sharp wit, endless curiosity, passionate concern for the environment, and her love and affection for all animals.

And Meg will always be remembered for her wild imagination, innate skills involving wordplay, trivia, and of course, she was the queen of geography. Meg was an avid reader, from Shakespeare to Whodunnits. Meg loved all parks and ravines where she spent endless fun-filled hours with her dogs.

Meg had so many fun names: Meggers, Meggles,
Auntie Meg, Meagan Magoo, Magellan, and her Mom loved to call her Nutmeg, her spice of life.

Meg was a strong supporter of her neighbourhood, her city, her country; always proud to be a Canadian.

If you wish to honour Meg’s memory, please consider donating to any advocacy group for all creatures great and small. Meg would love that.

We knew Meg was troubled and sad, but we never thought this could happen. But when you look at the photo gallery, please remember that Meg had a full life filled with many moments of joy.

Please hold your loved ones close.
