Violet Maud McLarty
December 10, 1926 - September 29, 2013
Violet McLarty (Woodman), died peacefully, in her 87th year, on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at the Toronto East General Hospital, where she received loving care from the very supportive health care team.
Loving mother of Paul, Cheryl,(Marianne Groat) and Julian Fisher,(Mary Fisher), predeceased by Jack Fisher, father of her children. Grandmother of Emma Fisher, Jeremiah,(Natalija Fisher), Kali, and Myles Fisher. Mother-in-Law of Terry MacKay. Sister of John Woodman (England)
Predeceased by Don McLarty.
She was a lover of animals, gardening, and a writer of considerable talent for the Ontario Farmer. She had a passion for jazz, fine clothes and a shoe collection that was the envy of many. A motto she appropriated was: "The difficult I'll do now, the impossible will take a little while."
Funeral to be held at Grace Church-on-the-Hill ( 300 Lonsdale Road, Toronto) on Saturday October 12, 2013 at 11 am. A reception to follow, at the church. Donations may be sent to the charity of your choice. Online Condolences may be made at www.etouch.ca.
