Knights, Maureen Patricia (nee Courtney)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Maureen Knights who passed away unexpectedly on Saturday January 24, 2026, in her eighty eighth year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth (Ken) Knights. Cherished mother of Derek (pre-deceased), Andrew, and Tanya. Loving and supportive grandmother of Molly and Blake.
Beloved sister of Eileen (deceased) (Neil) (deceased) and Jimmy (deceased) (Monic). Devoted daughter in law to George (deceased) and Edna (deceased) and sister-in-law to Bobby (deceased) and Barbra (deceased) (Ray) (deceased).

Will be affectionately and warmly remembered by all who met her, including family and friends in Ontario, Montreal, Winnipeg, the United States, England and Ireland. Her caring disposition, devotion to her family and generous nature were just a small part of what made Maureen a special person. Maureen helped people who crossed her path in so many ways throughout her life, whether they stayed with her, or she helped them financially or she lent an ear to listen. She fed many friends and family alike at all kinds of events she hosted.
