It is with very heavy hearts and deep sadness that the family announces Matthew’s passing after a courageous battle with Cancer. Born in St. John, New Brunswick, Matthew resided there until age 16. Matthew started his boxing career at Golden Gloves Boxing Club in St. John & pursued his career when he moved to Ontario; where he became a professional boxer with multiple fights. Matthew loved boxing, family, fishing and friends. Loving Son to Frank (Wendy) and Marlene. True love to Shantelle. Beloved brother to Brian (Stephanie) and Amanda. Uncle to Savanna, Kaiden and Teaghen. Matthew will be dearly missed by his many family members and friends. Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) for visitation on Sunday, June 28th from 2p.m. – 4 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 4 p.m. Reception to follow. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sick Kids Hospital. www.etouch.ca
