Mary passed away on December 4, 2025 in her 73rd year. She has left this world to re-join her parents, Edgar and Mary Jane, and her husband Keith. She remains in the hearts of her sister-in-laws Karen (Gerald) and Kathy, nieces Sarah (Salomon) and Emily (Kris), nephew Paul (Shannon), great niece Sadie, and long time friend Robi (Rick). Many thanks to Magdalene (Ron), Monika, and Susan for their support and care throughout Mary’s life and for helping to ease her final journey.

The Village of Humber Heights was Mary’s home for the last few years. She had a beautiful, sunny apartment that overlooked charming houses and majestic trees that gave her so much joy. She was cared for with much dignity.

Mary was born and raised in Toronto and received a BA from Carleton University. She had a love of animals from an early age, especially dogs. She and her husband cared for many dogs over the years and travelled extensively. Mary spent much of her time at her family cottage on Lake Simcoe and made many wonderful memories there.

She had a smile for everyone. Memorial donations can be made to an animal charity of your choice.

A Funeral Service will be held for Mary at York Funeral Centre on December 19th, 2025. The visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service starting at 2:00 p.m. A reception will be held at 3:30 p.m. for family and friends.
