Arline Middup passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, at the age of 80.
Born in Toronto to Russell and Madeline Middup, Arline will be lovingly remembered by her sister Gini (Larry) and brother John (Sharon). She was predeceased by her sister Gaye.
Arline was a much-loved aunt to Christopher and Trisha, Ashleigh (Dave), Tyler (Kalyn), Thomas, and Lauren (Dan). She cherished her family and the special connections she shared with each of them.
Arline had a wonderful sense of humour and always enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She loved watching old classic movies, bowling, and playing bingo, and she brought her own warmth and personality to everything she did. In her later years, Arline enjoyed the independence and community of her retirement residence in Barrie, where she was able to make a home for herself and enjoy life on her own terms.
She will be remembered with love and affection by her family and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A private family funeral will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Monday, August 10, 2026.
