<div itemprop="description"> <p> Peacefully and with great dignity Mary Ann Bloomberg (Perme), 82, passed away after a long period of illness on Monday, December 31, 2012 at the Meighan Manor nursing home in Toronto.&nbsp; Mary Ann was born on January 13, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois.&nbsp; She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Max-Louis Bloomberg - Mary Ann and Max met at the Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago where she was working as a young nurse and he a resident.&nbsp; Together they established a large and thriving family practice clinic in the east end of Montreal from 1957 to 1997.&nbsp; She was a wonderful mother to Sylvia, Natasha, and Jacob and his wife Louise and a much loved grandmother to Alexandra Hopkinson, Elia Bloomberg Araujo, Jefferson Hopkinson, Matthew Boutin-Bloomberg and Eric Boutin-Bloomberg.&nbsp;&nbsp; She was a dear sister to Janet and Henry Warner, and Carl and Kathy Nolting.&nbsp; Mary Ann will always be remembered for her gentle, caring and loving way as a mother, wife and nurse. Thank you to the dedicated and caring staff at the Meighan Manor.&nbsp; A private cremation will be held with family.&nbsp; In Mary Ann&rsquo;s memory donations may be made to the Alzheimer&rsquo;s Society or The Salvation Army (see donation section on this site for the link). </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> D&eacute;c&eacute;d&eacute;e paisiblement apr&egrave;s une longue maladie &agrave; l&rsquo;&acirc;ge de 82 ans, au Manoir Meighan &agrave; Toronto, le lundi 31d&eacute;cembre 2012, entour&eacute;e de sa famille.
