<div itemprop="description">Mark Yui Wah Tam, 70, of Scarborough, Ontario, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital. Born in Hong Kong on April 9, 1944 to Cheuk Man Tam and Shin Hing Wong, he lived two thirds of his life in Hong Kong and the rest in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. <br /> <br />Mark Yui Wah has fifty years of experience in various engineering fields, including marine, hotel, real estate, and hospital engineering. He holds the license of Marine Chief Engineer. He is a certified First Class Stationary Engineer, Chartered Institution of Building Services (CIBS) member, American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) member, and Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) member. He was the Chief Engineer of Motor Hydrofoil for Hong Kong &amp; Macao Hydrofoil Company in 1972. He was the Technical Manager of The Peninsula Hotel in 1978. He was the Director of Sino Estates Management Limited in 1981. He was the Chief Engineer at the Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital before he retired. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to Chinese opera, surfing the internet, and exercising. Mark was always there for his family. He worked hard to support them. <br /> <br />Mark Yui Wah is survived by his wife Nancy Tak Ching of 39 years, sons Michael Wing Ko and Philip Wing Au, mother Shin Hing, brothers Kam Wah and Raymond Chun Wa, sisters Po Kuen, Po Lin, and Po Ha, nephews Chi Wai, King Wai, Yat Sing, Yu Ming, and Tsz Kin, nieces Shu Fun, Hoi Yan, Hoi Ying, and Tsz Kiu, sisters-in-law Ka Pik Kan, Lai Kuen Ho, and brother-in-law Paul Tsz Por Fung. <br /> <br />Visitations and funeral services will be held at York Visitation Centre. It is located at 160 Beecroft Road, North York, Ontario, Canada. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 and 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Funeral services will be from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Mark Yui Wah will be laid to rest at the York Cemetery in North York, Ontario, Canada.
