Died peacefully, surrounded by family, on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the age of 91. Marjorie is lovingly remembered by her family in Ontario, niece, Marjorie Sinclair (Mike), nephew, Derek Vokey (Christine), great nieces and nephews, Lori Harris-Quigley (Jim), Tara Snetsinger (Chris), Robert Vokey, Michael Vokey, Sean Vokey, Owen Vokey and Drew Vokey and her great, great nieces and nephew, Jaedyn, Kaylee, Giorgia, and Mason. Memories are cherished by her sisters in Newfoundland, Hannah Johnson (Carl) and Betty Miller (Edward), predeceased by her brother Victor Vokey (Chattie) and sister Daphne Ivany (Percy). She is lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends in Newfoundland. The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to dear friends Anne Vokey and Judy Brown for their love, compassion and support over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations, in memory of Marjorie, may be made to The Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation at www.pmsf.org in honor of Jaedyn, or to The Salvation Army Citadel of your choice.
