<div itemprop="description"> <p> Marilyn, in her 72nd year, passed away peacefully at The Bethell Hospice, after a courageous battle with cancer.&nbsp; Predeceased by her husband John, Marilyn will be dearly missed by her three children Richard (Christina), Kelly (Bill) and Darcy (Karla).&nbsp; Marilyn was also the cherished grandmother to Jordan, Ryan, Montana, Sofia and Owen.&nbsp; A special thanks to the wonderful&nbsp; staff at Bethell Hospice.&nbsp; A Service of Remembrance will be held at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE, 1535 South Gateway Rd., Mississauga (Dixie Rd., 2 lights south of Eglinton Ave., 905-602-1580) on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 11 a.m.&nbsp;with visitation 1 hour prior.&nbsp; As an expression of sympathy, donations to Bethell Hospice would be greatly appreciated (www.bethellhospice.org).&nbsp; The family will hold a charity fundraiser for Bethell Hospice in Marilyn&rsquo;s honour on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at The Rosedale Village Clubhouse in Brampton at 1:00 pm. <b> </b> </p> </div>
