Peacefully, surrounded by family, Marilyn Elaine Burnett passed away on February 21st, 2026. Marilyn lovingly walked together throughout her adult life with the late Eric Assance of Christian Island, ON. Their journey together was gifted with 4 children, Carolyn, Katherine, Jonathan and Jennifer who will miss her immensely.

Born in Stouffville, ON, she is predeceased by her parents, the late Elmer and Dorothy Burnett and her brother Joe (Joanne). She will be forever remembered by her sisters, Darlene and Donna (Wayne Morrison) and dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews in the Burnett and Assance families. Funeral services will take place on Monday March 2nd, 2026 at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre. Visitation at 1pm, service at 2pm.
