Passed away peacefully at the Cedarvale Lodge, Keswick on Thursday, December 11, 2025 with her loving family by her side, at the age of 90.

Beloved wife of the late Angelo Volpe (1978). Loving mother of Rocco (Kathy), Michael (Brenda), Costanza (deceased) (Michael) Stamp, Antonietta (Bryan) Vaughan, Mary (Dave) Nelson, Angelo (Maggie) and Enza (Rick) Davies.

Loving Nonna to Angelo (Tina), Christopher (Joybeth), Sandra (Dave), Andrea (Tom), Scott (Elizabeth), Paige (Mike), Nichole (Adam), Patricia (Roy), Victoria (Justin), Paul (Alisha), Elise (Todd), Justin (Rachel), Trevor (Anna), Matthew (Lara), Tyler (Alie), Sara (John), Lindsay (Jonathan), Candace (James), Stefanie (Stefano), Adam (Emily), Michael (Emily), Sophie (Elijah) and Step-Nonna to Grant (Katie), Matt (Elizabeth) and Alex (Jen).

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Antonietta Marino. Dear sister of Carmelo (Patricia), Nino (Marianne)(both deceased), Antonio (Wendy), and Gerard (deceased). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Friends are invited to visit the family at the Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough M1K 1R1 on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm and on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service to Celebrate Maria’s Life at 2:00 pm. Private Family Interment at Pine Hills Cemetery. Reception will follow in the Pine Hills Reception Centre.
