It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Vassiliou (nee Outopoulos) on her 87th birthday, August 15th, 2025. Maria is survived by her loving husband of 70 years Konstantinos, adoring son Aleck (Maria), and her cherished grandchildren, Christopher and Nicholas. She was predeceased by her beloved son George. Maria was a kind and gentle woman, a bright ray of sunshine that lit up every room and filled it with happiness. She was a devoted wife, a caring mother, a protective grandmother and a loyal friend. Family, friendships and faith were at the heart of everything Maria did. She found great joy in watching her grandsons grow and being a part of their lives. She nurtured her bond with them from the start, with a youthful spirit that flourished into a special connection they will hold on to forever.

Maria captured the essence of goodness. She showed love to everyone she met and was loved by everyone who knew her. She greeted everyone with a big smile and made friends everywhere she went. Steadfast in prayer and unwavering in her faith, Maria drew comfort in knowing that one day, she will be at peace in the arms of the Lord. Maria, you will, truly, be missed by us all, but you will always be in our thoughts and remembered in our prayers.
