Maria Jose Claudio Carvalho passed away Sunday December 7th 2025 at Grace Manor long term care.
Born in Candelaria, Sao Miguel, her journey in life was marked by the love dedication to her family and unwavering commitment to her faith.

Family was the cornerstone of Maria Jose’s life.She is predeceased by her beloved husband Jose and her cherished grandson Paul Carvalho. Maria Jose was also predeceased by her siblings Maria (Joao), Jose (Beatriza), Manuel (Tresesa), Joao (Natalia), brother-in-law law Manuel, and sister in laws Maria and Gloria. She was the beloved mother of Lourdes her husband Gilberto and her son Jose Manuel his wife Isabel. Proud grandmother to Dianne (Ken), Shaun, Amy, and Maggie (John). The light of her eyes her great grand children Ayden, Charlotte, Kaiyin, Juliette, and Jack. She will be lovingly remembered by extended family friends.

She loved her Portuguese heritage which she continued to uphold in her cooking skills, baking, and the simple gestures showed the love of her roots. She was a women of grace and dignity, her memory will live on in her family and her friends.
