October 5, 1928 - May 12, 2014
TURNER, Margaret Mary O'Reilly - On May 12, 2014, after a long and valiant battle with COPD, Margaret age 85, drew her last breath. Beloved wife of the late Victor Russel Turner. She will be missed by loving friends who were fortunate enough to have crossed her path.
Margaret will be remembered for her quiet strength, undeniable kindness, warmth, spunkiness and quirky sense of humour.
Appreciation and gratitude to Runnymede Healthcare Centre for their exemplary care and affection.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 16th 4-8 p.m. at The Simple Alternative, 275 Lesmill Rd. (Leslie St. and Hwy. 401). A celebration of Margaret's life will be held on Saturday, May 17th at 11:30 a.m. at the Necropolis Cemetery Chapel, 200 Winchester St. Interment to follow immediately afterwards.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation (Cardiac/Pulmonary Wellness Centre @ TWH), The Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto), the Lung Association, the Canadian Cancer Society, Runnymede Healthcare Centre or to a charity of your choice.
