Margaret Sui Fun Chan (曹瑞芬)
October 30, 1951 - January 14, 2016
Margaret (Cho) Chan, age 64, passed away peacefully at Hill House Hospice after a spirited battle with cancer on Thursday, January 14, 2016.
Born in Hong Kong, Margaret moved to Canada as a young woman where she married Raymond Chan (died 2005). She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Margaret is survived by her two sons, Edmond (Jennifer) and James; as well as her grandson Evan. Daughter to Peter Chee Wan Cho (曹志雲), loving sister to Helen (David), Mimi (Frank), Mary and Shirley (Bill) and cherished aunt to Sarah, Katherine, Kevin, Dana, Austin and Nathan. Margaret will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Monday January 18th, from 7 to 9 PM at Elgin Mills Visitation Centre located at 1591 Elgin Mills Road, Richmond Hill, ON.
In lieu of flowers, Margaret requested donations to the Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill, ON. Donations can be made online at http://hillhousehospice.com/howtohelp_donate.html
