Margaret Ann Moore passed away peacefully at the Ina Grafton Gage Home in Toronto on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the age of 74.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Ken and Nora Forbes, her beloved husband George, her brother Rob and her stepdaughter, Sheri.

She is lovingly remembered by her siblings Ken (Fran), Mary (the late Pete), Jim (Denice) and her stepdaughter Julie. Margaret also held a special place in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews and cousins, especially her cousin Rita, as well as many dear friends.

Margaret was known for her intelligence, artistic spirit, and gentle warmth. She had a lifelong love of painting and playing the piano, creative passions that brought joy both to her and to those around her. Margaret had a wonderful sense of adventure and loved to travel, especially enjoying the many cruises she took over the years. She was someone who always tried to do the right thing, welcomed others with an open heart, and carried herself with grace and kindness.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 1 – 3 p.m. Followed by inurnment in Pine Hills Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to Diabetes Canada.
