Maliknaz Sadooghi, a woman whose presence was a radiant gift to all who knew her. A devoted wife, a selfless mother, and the world’s most cherished Mommyjoon, Maliknaz was the true "bright light" of her family, leaving behind a legacy of warmth that will never dim.

Maliknaz was the cornerstone of her family, a woman defined by her unconditional love and an open heart that made everyone feel like they belonged. To know her was to know her infectious laughter—a sound that could fill a room and instantly lighten the heaviest of spirits. She moved through the world with a grace and kindness that touched everyone she met, turning strangers into friends and friends into family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Ahmad, with whom she built a life rooted in devotion and partnership. Her spirit lives on through her children: Sima and husband Steve; Sara and Saeed and wife Jessica.

Perhaps her greatest joy was found in her role as Mommyjoon. She was the steady, loving heartbeat in the lives of her six grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. Her light shines on in Zachary, Daria, Lily, Sophie, Odin, and Sri, each of whom carries a piece of her wisdom, her humor, and her boundless capacity for love.

Maliknaz’s life was not measured in years, but in the countless lives she brightened and the love she so freely gave. While our world is a little quieter without her laughter, we find comfort in knowing that her light remains within us all.
