Born on January 21, 1922 in New Brunswick, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 after a complication from surgery in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late John Halladay. Daughter of the late Marie (nee Valcourt) and Joseph Beaulieu. Loving mother of Michael (Gail) and Margot (Craig Sullivan). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren BJ (Beth), James (Andrea), Ashleigh (Will), Jason (Kyla), Amy, Daniel (Krista) and Mark (Adrienne) and great grandchildren Elijah, Mya, Kiera, Albany, Brianne and Bryce. Dear sister to Edgar, Wilmer, Laurier, Antoinette, Claire and Mildred all predeceased. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A very special thanks to the 5th floor nursing staff at Seven Oaks who treated our mother with such kindness and brought her such joy. A celebration of life will take place at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE (1057 Brock Road, Pickering, 905-696-5589) on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11 am with a reception to follow. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the charity of your choice.
