Obituary

It is with deep sadness and profound love, we announce the sudden passing of Lorraine
Mary Washburn on October 11, 2024. Beloved wife of Larry Hyland. She will be deeply
missed and forever remembered by her predeceased parents Charles & Lorraine Frith,
brothers Douglas (Michelle predeceased), David (Lena), Ken (Andrea), Peter (Inara),
sister-in-law Cathy (Larry), brother-in-law Rick (Sheryl), her furball children Bearcat and
Jackpot, and many cherished nieces, nephews and friends. Known for her immense
heart and selfless spirit, Lorraine will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her
kindness, strength, humour and unwavering love for family and friends.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Lorraine’s Life on Saturday May 10, 2025 at
Pine Hills Funeral Centre at 625 Birchmount Rd., Toronto, Ont. Visitation will take place
at 10am and the Celebration of Life service will begin at 11am.
