<div itemprop="description">Young (nee MacDonald), Lorna Jane. It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Lorna, on Dec 3rd at Humber River Hospital (Finch site). Lorna died peacefully surrounded by family, after a long and courageous struggle with lung disease. Beloved wife of Errol, loving mother of Aaron and Evan (Amrit), and devoted grandmother of Owen and Ella. Lorna was a cherished sister to: Lloyd (Penney) Kingston, ON; Leonard (Anne) Antigonish, NS; Howard (Susan) Toronto, ON; Earle (Dora) Bathurst, NB; Ralph (Carolyn) Athabasca, AB; Elaine (William) Richmond Hill, ON; Hilda Toronto, ON; Kenneth (Melanie) Dartmouth, NS; Patricia (Lloyd) Guysborough, NS; Donna (Dave) Toronto, ON; Robert Edmonton, AB; Daniel (Carol) Halifax, NS. Lorna is also survived by: her mother-in-law Estelle; brothers-in-law Art ( Linda); David (Ellen) and sister-in-law Karen ( late Gerry). Lorna will be sadly missed by her 22 nieces and nephews and her 10 great nieces and nephews. <br /> <br />Lorna was born in Mulgrave, NS on February 6th 1948. Lorna was the second child of 15 children born to the late Daniel and Pearl (nee Bouchie) MacDonald. Lorna worked as a telephone operator for Maritime Tel &amp; Tel for several years in both Mulgrave and Halifax. Lorna later attend Dalhousie University, before moving to Toronto with Errol and sons in 1979. <br /> <br />Lorna was predeceased by her parents, two brothers Lawrence and David, father-in-law Jack, nephew Claude, and niece Marie.</div>
