Lloyd Thomas Ward
February 2, 1949 - March 5, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lloyd Thomas Ward, who left us peacefully on March 5, 2025, at the age of 76. Lloyd was a man of kindness, warmth, and an infectious laugh that could light up any room. He was deeply loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born on February 2, 1949, Lloyd lived a life rich with love and laughter. He was a devoted husband to Marcelle, cherishing every moment they shared together. As a father, he was unwavering in his love and guidance for his children, Christopher (Kelly) and Anne-Marie (Alex). His greatest joy was being a proud grandfather to Ava, Sébastien, Mia, and Eloise, who will forever carry his love in their hearts. He shared a bond with Christopher's former partner Holly, with whom he remained connected. Lloyd will always be loved by his siblings Wilbert (Joyce) and Margaret (Bill). He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Annie (Smith) Ward.
Above all, Lloyd will be remembered for his love of family, his joyful spirit, and the way he made others feel seen and valued. His memory will live on in the stories we share and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will remain with us always.
There will be a celebration of life to honour Lloyd on Sunday April 13th from 2-5pm at 555 William Graham Dr, Party Room, Aurora, feel free to drop in within these hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
