Bourgeois, Lise Anne Marguerite-
Died peacefully on Thursday April
12, 2012, at home, where she wanted
to be, with many of those she so
loved around her, including her
Macdonald Men, of whom she
was so proud: husband Tom, and
their sons Colin and Brendan, and
Brendan’s love, Allison.
Despite the challenges of living
with cancer for 18 years, which
challenges were met with grace,
courage, determination, elegance
and great good humour, Lise Anne
had a life of joy, accomplishment
and happiness.
“A heart is not judged by how
much you love, but by how much
you are loved by others.” Lise Anne
was loved by so many including
Tom, Colin, Brendan and Allison;
parents Blair and Germaine of
Moncton, who survive her; sister
and great friend Gisele; Gisele’s
children Marc Andre and Chantal;
Tom’s brothers Stephen, David,
Bob, Andrew and Paul; sisters-inlaw
Moira, Jody and Ellen, who
were much more like sisters; the
incredible clan of Macdonald nieces,
nephews, spouses and partners;
and loyal friends to whom she
was a great inspiration.
LA’s Macdonald Men wish to
thank their family, friends, Tom’s
colleagues at Goodmans, and the
health professionals and caregivers
who supported and cared for Lise
Anne and them, particularly in the
last 18 months.
There will be a visitation on Monday
April 16, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm
at Mount Pleasant Visitation Centre,
375 Mt. Pleasant Road and a
memorialcelebrationofLiseAnne’s
life on Tuesday April 17, 2012, at
4:30 pm at the Donalda Club,
12 Bushberry Drive, North York.
Although Lise Anne loved flowers,
she would rather donations be
made to Temmy Latner Centre for
Palliative Care’s Camp Erin, Toronto
