Lillian Beatrice McFadyen (nee Barber)
Passed away peacefully at Toronto Western Hospital on June 6, 2013 at the age of 92. Preceding her stay in hospital, Lillian was a resident at Christie Gardens for the past ten years.
Beloved wife for 67 years of Jack McFadyen, who died in April 2010. Loving mother to David and his wife Lesley, and her daughter Barbara Basta (McFadyen). Loving grandmother of Christopher, Anna, Katy, Patrick and his wife Kathleen and delighted great-grandmother of their daughter Fiona. Friends may gather for a memorial service to be held at 2 p.m., with visitation one hour prior, on Wednesday June 12, 2013 at the VISITATION CENTRE in MOUNT PLEASANT CEMETERY, 375 Mount Pleasant Road (east gate entrance),Toronto, 416-485-5572. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lillian’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Osteoporosis Canada would be gratefully appreciated.
