It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Leighton Wilberforce Orridge on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at his home in North York.

Leighton will be remembered as a loving father whose kindness, generous spirit and warm energetic laugh could light up a room. He touched the lives of all that knew him and will be greatly missed.

Recently retired from the Bank of Montreal after 25 years of dedicated service in the Technology department, Leighton was deeply respected by his colleagues and friends within the organization.

He was the beloved son of Lillian & Frank Orridge. Cherished father of Lyndsey and Brennan Orridge. Dear brother to Winston, Camille, and Aldrienne and predeceased by his siblings Denise and Howard. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leighton’s memory can be made to Habitat for Humanity. Leighton enjoyed wearing bright, colourful shirts. In his memory, we invite you to join us by wearing a colour he would have loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held at York Funeral Centre, on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Guests are invited to start arriving at 1:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with visitation continuing until 3:15 p.m.
