He will forever be remembered and deeply missed by his family, friends, his brothers and sisters of DC46 Local 1891, and his Toronto District School Board (TDSB) family.
Leacroft was a dedicated and hardworking man whose actions spoke louder than words. Though he was a man of few words, he expressed his love through his generosity, selflessness, and steadfast commitment to those he cared about. He was a devoted provider, a loving husband and father, a trusted friend, a jokester who could make others smile, and a teacher through the example he set every day. He found joy in life's simple pleasures. Whether playing dominoes with friends every weekend, taking his daily walks to the park, or riding his bicycle, Leacroft embraced each day with gratitude and quiet contentment. His greatest strength came from his faith in God. He proclaimed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and treasured God's Word throughout his life.
One of Leacroft's favorite passages of Scripture was Psalm 23:1–6, a reflection of the faith and peace that guided him throughout his journey.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we take comfort in knowing that his legacy of love, kindness, faith, hard work, and generosity will live on through everyone whose life he touched. He will forever remain in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
