Laurance Saliba
March 20, 1934 - May 1, 2015
Laurance Saliba died in the hospital on May 1, 2015 due to natural causes after a long struggle with dementia. She was 81.
Laurance was born on March 20, 1934 in Abra, Lebanon to her parents, Helen Khoury and Hanna Saliba. She married George El Masri in 1957. They wed in Jal El Dib and resided there for the majority of her life. She spent most of her time and dedication to raising her children. She would travel to Canada on a regular basis to visit them and help raise her grandchildren. Laurence Saliba was a very caring, compassionate and strong woman. She was committed to helping her family and others. Laurance is survived by her daughters; Leila, Lodi, Souraya and Amal, by her sons Elias and Walid; fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Laurance will be buried in a public ceremony on May 9, 2015. Further details are provided below.
